"Gifts from the Heart"

We will collect nonperishable food for Gainesville Community Ministry (http://www.betterday.org/). A box filled with these items will feed a family of 4 for two days:

2 cans of meat

2 cans of vegetables

2 cans of fruit

2 cans of soup

2 boxes of macaroni/cheese or rice

1 lb. of dry beans or 1 can baked beans

1 box of hot cereal

1 pkg. of powdered milk

1 can of evaporated milk

1 box of dried soup mix

1 jar of peanut butter

Optional: 1 small bottle of dish detergent

or any personal care items you wish (tooth brushes, soap, shampoo, etc)

Individual items are also welcome.

We will also collect items for Sidney Lanier School (http://www.sbac.edu/~lanier/), a public school in Alachua County that serves students with severe developmental or multiple disabilities, ages 3 to 22. Items desired:

Used postage stamps

Campbell's soup labels

Box tops for education

Advertising magnets
